Thinking: When you show laboratory monkey experiments to make points about human behavior, is there any consideration to how being locked up in a cage and being experimented on influences the behavior?

This is not actually what someone said but what I read into what someone said. Blame me. 😉
Pro tip: having people in an audience stand/sit repeatedly is not an inclusive exercise. Finding inclusive exercises may feel hard but you can start acknowledging more people with the language you use.
”Everyone, stand up!” vs. ”If you can, stand up.”
Acknowledgement matters.
This is a good first step, and we can move further.
”If you can, and want to feel more energized, stand up.”
Establish intent clearly, allowing for informed consent when people make their choice.
Of course, when possible, strive to make the exercise itself as inclusive as possible as well.

People who find out late in the chat that they are talking to a bot feel duped, so it’s good to disclose up front.
Also why it’s important to disclose data storage, intent, data-use and sharing, tracking and coercive language.
