When we solve the wrong problem we are at best solving symptoms. The problem seems gone because its symptoms are gone. But of course the root problem persists and the incentive to solve it is diminished. Because we are now very profitable thanks to the symptoms it generates. 🧐

@Acuity_Design Thanks, will do my due diligence and talk to the right people. I think maybe there was a museum guide that I had in the back of my mind. I know I've seen this.
As a speaker and as participant one can be clear about requisites like:
+ Environmentally conscious food and drinks
+ Accessible venue and social events
+ No all-white-male panels

I want to apologize for being negative here today. My observations and comments have been well-intended but some could certainly have been more humble and accepting in their wording.
