@dancharvey @nicolasnova I think they do a full live recording of the amphiteatre and release that end of day. So I would expect around 8pm.

@jennyshen @luckykat Coach is not a protected professional title so I get how there are many coaches out there with different outlooks. I studied with ICF so my view of coaching is exactly as I described. In this realm coaching is closer to CBT, but not for mental health issues.
@jennyshen @luckykat Here is a PDF describing how International Coach Federation (ICF) defines coaching: …tothefullcoaching.files.wordpress.com/2007/09/icf-co…
@jennyshen @luckykat I have coached people in professions that I am no expert in. And I have hired my own coach who knows little about design, and is younger :)
@jennyshen @luckykat But I will agree that not all people who call themselves coaches will accept this definition.
@jennyshen @luckykat Also, to be clear. I am not against mentoring in any way. Sometimes I combine these roles, but I will be clear in every session if I am stepping out of my coaching role. That is part of the ethics. For me, the power of coaching, active listening, has been mind-shifting.
↪ Replying to @jennyshen
@jennyshen @luckykat In coaching the answers come from the coachee, and there is no hierarchy. In mentoring there is an assumed ”experienced” vs ”inexperienced” relationship, the assumption being a transfer of knowledge from the mentor.
@jennyshen @luckykat Coaching looks at you as a whole person, whereas mentoring is more often looking at the professional situation only.

@jasonmesut Yes, figuring this all out as I’m writing about it ;)
The simple example is that outcome is more concerned with things like increased conversions/visits/downloads, while impact means looking at health/privacy/well-being issues and can also expand to effects on the planet.
@jasonmesut I’ll be sharing the worksheets from my workshop online before the end of the conference, but also have a look at impactmanagementproject.com

@ixdconf haha, thank you. I was trying to figure out how to see the TGV timetable in the app but gave up after a while.
@ixdconf I mostly just loved the word ”theorethical”.
↪ Replying to @jmcquarrie
@jmcquarrie But is this deception or just meeting expectations? Providing people enough time to adjust to changes is what I would refer to as positive friction.
Just to be clear I wasn’t endorsing the term ”benevolent deception” in that tweet. ;)

@Acuity_Design I think writing it down could get you into trouble with your bank.
