@janeruffino My interpretation was Karen and Frank are addressing organizational decision-making where decisions are made with little consideration for outcomes. The idea being that "slow thinking" may help avoid harm. Agree they would not apply, and could be dangerous, in other contexts.

@_anith Exactly! As an adult this has also manifested in politeness. I do not want to speak over others and in certain groups this means it's impossible to get a word in. Some of the best project managers I've had noticed this and asked "What do you think Per?" which provides space.

@_anith For me the concept of introvert has been helpful, because of what it is intended to mean, not what most people think it means. I am not shy, but consider myself an introvert. The easiest way for me to explain is how I need to replenish after social interactions, which drain me.
@_anith All the while I was labelled as shy as a kid, when really I was a keen observer trying to make sense of things before I engaged.
Being labelled by other people, I agree, often sucks.

@lisariemers @Wedge I'd argue links are still working class text (delivery services) and you don't get to lower middle class text until you add bold (as required for clerical work). The upper middle class need italics and bullets (lawyers). To gaslight all of them you need really rich text though.

@David_M_Bergman @Loukas_RS Thx! It strikes me how "Sthlm syndrome" a simple way to defer any idea of rational thinking. Instead of trying to understand the real reasoning (which may be completely rational in the context) it dismisses it with a "mental delusion" which apparently requires no explanation.

Next on my reading list is "Jag blev Stockholmssyndromet". Literally: I became the Stockholm syndrome. It's the personal story of Kristin Enmark, who was held hostage in 1973. When critizicing the police she was dismissed with a non-existent diagnosis invented on the spot.

@Tesla452 I have yes, but good call. That's the type of "mindless" action my mind sometimes craves to calm down - however counterintuitive that may seem.
Are there no new good action movies? Appreciate any fast-paced action movies you can recommend. Preferably one I can rent on Apple TV or watch on Netflix 😬 Feel like I've run out of them though, so other platforms as well if the movie is worth a subscription ;)
