@beantin It's true I was mostly thinking of those workplace personality tests that I believe are really harmful.
With "pleasant" I actually was thinking the same, that it is pleasant precisely because it's so deeply ingrained in us. Like all our energy-preserving shortcuts. :)

Agree that some points in the article can be lacking :)
This passion for labelling people. It’s such a pleasant shortcut (even to try and make sense of ourselves) but imagine the huge mental walls it erects and the platform for prejudiced behavior it cements.
Please avoid it 😕. Practice shifting perspective.

While people like myself hold fast that Shrove Tuesday is the day you are supposed to eat them, @beantin has had quite a few at different places over the past month. Which of course makes him your go-to guy for finding out what bakery in Stockholm makes the best one.

1. Last week I got upset with one of Sweden's largest financial newspapers: Dagens industri (Di). By getting people to sign up for 5-dollar 3-month subscriptions that they forgot to cancel, Di tied them to 1-year $28/month subscriptions! I wrote a blog post outlining this scam.
2. Today I'm getting word from several people who were able to get out of the contract thanks to the work I did detailing the flow and pointing out the lack of clarity around the 12-month contract.
Each person's potential savings are around $336!()
3. I even added a step-by-step guide on what victims should write and to what address, to make it easier for them.
"I got a response from Di. They're tearing up my invoice and 'are aware of you criticism'. They are going to look over their communication. I hope for the better."
4. If I could, this would be my day-job , blogging for justice. So very pleased about how his played out.

5. Also, the campaign is still online. Which means that I've made good use of Twitter's Ads Transparency Center to find all ads and comment on them with warnings.

6. Here's a Feb 14 article from the paper, by the editor-in-chief, boasting a huge growth in profit and very strong increase in subscriber numbers.
It's important to understand many of those subscribers are likely vulnerable and unwilling.

I have a @sketch file that's messed up. Background has turned black and I can see in Layers that my items are there but they're just invisible. Have restarted everything, both software and computer, but to no avail. Anybody know what's happening?
It's a file I use every day.
@sketch To be clear it's not about dark mode / light mode. The elements are invisible also in light mode.

@WolfgangBremer I believe the danger with numbers is that you decide on 3 tasks, manage only one, and feel bad about that. The better question is for me is... did I stay on track? If yes, excellent. If no, there is a learning opportunity. The reason I deviated may be important.

@WolfgangBremer Depends on how much I choose to break things down into smaller tasks. Knowing my priorities, values and goals is more important than number of items. They help me stay on track. Importantly, they also help me say no.
