My brain hurts.
These e-mails are especially revealing spam messages, as they aren't actually referencing an article, but a podcast episode. The person sending has no clue as to what they are offering to share.
(The idea is to build rapport and then encourage us to add a link to them.)

@DorotheaBaur Categorically refuse. It skews search engine results in favor of highest-payer rather than most relevant. For me, it's a matter of personal ethics where I don't want to recommend anything based on if I'm paid for it, even if it would be marked as 'sponsored content'.
