When people are out of arguments against an opinion piece I wrote, they mock the professional title I signed with: ”Consultant in digital design”.
Apparently this can be very funny.

Ibland samlas mobilen in, ibland används den. x.com/bjorklundjan/s…

@matsbjork I need to finish my book first and then I can get cracking ;) But we definitely need a forum to both discuss but also for advice.
Heads up that I'm maintaining a list of books on the topics of ethical, inclusive and sustainable design, over on Kit: kit.com/axbom/design-e… @hashtagkit #designethics
Remember when wikis were new and we spoke at conferences about how wikiwiki means ”quick” in Hawaiian?
Those were the times when we thought quick websites would save the world.
There are cries for ethics in the design industry, and I hear these cries. But the cry is a symptom of a greater problem, that of people getting hurt. The design problem is for products and services to NOT harm people. Now *that* we can work with.
You don’t build strategy so that there is one path to victory. You build strategy so that there are as many paths as possible to something that isn’t loss.
Shit will hit the fan, and when it does you will also be defined by how you handle the aftermath. Designing the ”after” is just as important as designing the ”before”.
As long as I keep waking up in the middle of the night and sketching stuff I don’t think my book is done. 😂

If you're curious about what I do to wind down, I draw vector art. I've now started thinking I should maybe try to sell some prints. Or t-shirts. 🧐

The #GoogleDoodle today seems to be celebrating the Swedish #Fettisdagen with #Semla but that was on February 13?? g.co/doodle/pxck7g

Hehe, sending a newsletter with your own reply-to address lets you know who is on vacation, who is on parental leave and who switched jobs! 😄
In case you missed it earlier this year: It is now illegal in Iceland to pay women less than men. Meanwhile: "The United States ranks 96th in political empowerment of women, behind Nepal, Algeria and Pakistan. Women make up just 19 percent of Congress." thinkprogress.org/in-iceland-its…
