@alundbergh Totally agree. My control is that I tell people Messenger is a non-preferred way to reach me and I check it rarely. On Chrome I had a plugin that blocked read receipts, but I don’t bother with that anymore. Telegram, e-mail and Twitter DM are what I’ve boiled it down to.

@alundbergh I have no notifications activated for messenger and look at it once per day on average. So I still feel in control.

Thinking about pursuing a master’s programme in communication science. Found myself looking at universities. Don’t know where this is coming from.
