I am now in #Manchester and blown away by the free bus network. Well done! #cityplanning
#CampDigital

And this is the Royal Exchange Theatre. #CampDigital

So #Manchester peeps, I'm gonna set up mobile office and do some work at a café in the Royal Exchange area. Any recommendations?

OMG I just ended up in the coolest coworking space ever!!! #ziferblat

The angel on my left shoulder right now telling me to kill some darlings... because I have soo many slides. 😬

The angel on my right shoulder, though, cheering me on to add more.

It’s 6am in Sweden so obviously my body is wanting to wake up. My brain not so much, but that’s as expected.
UK hotel rooms always have a kettle though, and yass! freeze-dried coffee. I will be ready for you #CampDigital

@mikelaurie I love this! You know in a morbid UX kinda' way.
I'm going to highly recommend a Netflix series, The Alienist, and a movie, Spotlight.
That is all.

@JesperBylund @rsms @javve @vanschneider @baobame I use @getboxy on Mac and Inbox on iOS.
Packing for #CampDigital, which means putting All the Stuff I Need in the bag.

Happy squeeze day to all of my fellow Swedes who are celebrating.

@henry_neves7 Good suggestion. 👍 I'll be working on a blog post to explain my observations further.
I'm trying to estimate the time people are expected to spend reading terms and privacy policies. The first 4 terms and policies at Facebook apply to most users and require approximately 52 minutes to read through in one shot, likely more to understand... then there are 9 more.

Instagram's privacy policy and terms of use combined will take on average 23 minutes to read through.

@xtopher1974 I hear you. I'm very uncomfortable with Sweden as the world's third largest arms exporter per capita after Israel and Russia.
What was refreshing in this instance though is that thousands of Google employees are objecting to the involvement. theverge.com/2018/4/4/17199…
Sometimes I work with English spreadsheets and sometimes with Swedish ones. The decimal separator is period (.) in English but comma (,) in Swedish. @Apple Numbers will have me change the SYSTEM-WIDE setting every time I want to change between them. Pretty much sucks.

@alundbergh Could be, but it seems that tracking is the dominant tactic to reach that goal.

@kaseyjwang I have very little experience of this as I always turn down help, but very fair points. Shopping in physical stores can be painful, requires resilience as they do want to track you. Do you see us approaching a world where it’s impossible to stay anonymous even in physical stores?

@kaseyjwang This is why I carry my own 4g router. Never safe from surveillance :(

@xtopher1974 I’m beginning to appreciate the taxis in Germany that prefer cash... #paranoid

@xtopher1974 True, but it feels easier for me to opt out by paying cash and avoiding customer clubs. I had the thought today at a café where I paid cash. But you’re right, a lot of tracking going on anyway.
Basically any time I buy something online now I start a relationship that needs a privacy policy. At a physical store they don’t need to know who I am. How could online stores offer shopping that does not require a relationship?
To elaborate: I know physical stores WANT to track me and will do their utmost to do so. But I believe a physical store is more likely to agree to sell me stuff without requiring an e-mail address, membership or credit card.
Perhaps we are heading down that route though.
