We need to address four issues in our design practice:
* How do I know if negative impact is happening?
* How can I feel empowered to stop bad decisions?
* What can I do before negative impact happens?
* What can I do after it happens?

Project methodology tends to empower bad decision-making.

A call for ethics is all well and good, but we have to get to the root of why there is a call for ethics in order to address the issue properly.

Part of the solution is to increase transparency around people who are being hurt by digital. When these voices are heard, change will begin.

Thinking: What if we could come up with 5 standardized privacy policies, and a company would just say, "Yeah we are using policy number 3". They could make unique amendments, but that would make them tedious. Now ALL companies are tedious.
