How do you stim?
Finally taking the time to truly understand DesignOps. Realizing this is exactly what I want to work with setting up within Sweden's healthcare system! 😀
ping @louisrosenfeld :)
↪ Replying to @whitneyhess
@whitneyhess Not sure. But I believe it’s more about how I myself would feel about it, which is uncomfortable. Also, I think this was me sub-tweeting that maybe it’s not always a good thing - and trying to make people think about that ;)
@whitneyhess Also, you didn’t answer my question before you asked yours 😝

@allisonmanley @whitneyhess Haha, life goals!
↪ Replying to @mattiaswikman
@mattiaswikman This feels very relevant. Awards are likely more relevant for the people receiving them (as they should be!) than for the people hearing about them out of context.
↪ Replying to @Cennydd
@Cennydd The more I think about it the more it feels like something that, when 'advertised' upfront, risks adding friction to conversation rather than boosting it. In a way it distances oneself from others. At the same time as it does not, as you point out 😀
Some years ago I recieved an honorary award here in Sweden from one of the academic HCI associations. Would that mean I could call myself an "award-winning designer"? I see that term sometimes but I'd feel uncomfortable applying it to myself. What does it mean to you?
A running joke as we age is not yet knowing what we want to be when we grow up, but I’m confident this is the goal itself: never settle, always stay curious about what else there could be.
I’m getting very close to having to do one of the following:
* give up e-mail, or
* have someone manage my e-mail for me
✉️✉️✉️✉️✉️✉️✉️📈😫
When we build an industry to manage a problem, the industry and its employees rely on the continued existence of that very problem.
Maybe just stop building and give the problems our full attention. If we listen closer, we may just learn something...
↪ Replying to @Geggamojja
@Geggamojja @cinni76 Tack.
↪ Replying to @Geggamojja
↪ Replying to @asaplsnr
@asaplsnr Viktig observation.
My 13-year old just knocked a hat to the floor, as he was putting on his winter jacket, and without hesitation bent over to pick it up and hang it on the hook again!!
IS THIS WHEN IT ALL CHANGES!?
"Per, you are one of our best customers but you haven't placed an order in 182 days."
Hmm, if I'm one of your best customers, how are you still in business? Oh... wait, let's talk again in 182 days.
