'Educating girls transforms society. Maternal and child mortality rates fall. Equality and prosperity rise. Women gain more control over their future, earn more money and lead healthier, happier lives. Drawbacks? None.' informationisbeautiful.net/beautifulnews/…
This pretty much sums it up. x.com/TheAiShow3/sta…
The one thing I would amend is the year. Quickfixes, bracings and digital band-aids have been around since decades earlier.
I was offered $25 to review an app I really like. I’m curious so I clicked to read more and realized this was for an Amazon gift certificate. So I was like “hell no then” and I now like the app a little bit less.
Oh the irony…

@katherinemzhou @TheCovatar Love this Kat! Both dog adoption and the portrait. I feel like doing something similar with our dog now!

'Come on guys, can't we all just get along?'
And still we count on nobody listening. #CobraKai did not disappoint an old #KarateKid 80s nerd like myself.

@marcusosterberg Haha, känner mig alktid smartare när jag föreläser på engelska, med exakt samma material som svenska föreläsningar... vilket jäkla övertag man kan få med språk ändå.

@JesperBylund @Augmentedrobot I like that you question. Helps me understand more perspectives and interpretations as well.

@JesperBylund @Augmentedrobot I'm not against the technology, ethical experimentation or autonomous decisions that do not harm others. I'm against the way he expresses himself, which to me comes across as ableist. And that this has repercussions that can stigmatize people.

@Augmentedrobot @JesperBylund I don't think it's necessarily malice, but my concern when it comes to Musk is how his large following takes to heart and hangs on every word as truth. There is an effect I believe he could take more responsibility for. He doesn't have to, but I wish he did.
Multimodal training. Keeping an eye on chat, e-mail, slides, demos, breakout rooms, timings, tech support and of course whatever it is I am talking about. It's fun. But it's freakin' exhausting 😅

I've been following the inexplicable deaths of elephants for a while and can't stop thinking about the dolphins in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. 😬
Because of 11 elephants you question? Well that's because you may not aware be aware of Botswana. See thread. x.com/guardian/statu…
In Botswana more than 350(!) elephants died under mysterious circumstances earlier this year.
