This weekend my son, due to a usability issue, managed to reformat his new camera’s SD card with 400+ recent photos. He managed to retrieve them using PhotoRec.
Not everyone knows you can retrieve data from formatted media. So just a reminder :)

The usability issue? The camera menu he was in only had two options. It was unclear which option was selected, the one with a light background or the one with a dark background.
He guessed wrong. And there was no second warning.
