Spotify really have dropped the ball on communicating how podcasts work. I’ve seen people wonder why there are ads on podcasts when they pay for premium. The thing is: 99.999% of podcasts get zero reimbursement from Spotify. It’s just a distribution platform. Unless you’re Joe.

@onsman Fun fact, the Swedish name of my book is Digital omtanke where the word "omtanke" is compassion. But it can also be interpreted as the noun of the verb "tänka om" (rethink). Making the title also "Digital rethink". 😁
@onsman The English translator attempted an English version of this, using considerate and reconsider. Never made it to the cover, but I appreciated the effort.

@DonnaLanclos Haha, excellent point. I tend to more often use the word ’listening’ so I was kind of frustrated at first that I had sketched it out like this. My counterpoint would be that researchers too often assume they understand without putting more effort into truly understanding.

I love this concept. Started in Denmark in 2000 and now human library events have been hosted in more than 80 countries.
