@eriksellstrom Jag undrar alltid hur koordinerat sån't här kan vara. Man släpper nee några brandfacklor på väl valda ställen, men hur elden sprider sig känns oförutsägbart! Antingen så är det förutsägbart, eller så är det så billigt att göra om experimentet tills man får önskat resultat.

@D20Nat1 This is true, and yet only a small percentage of people given this type of offer tend to agree to it. Which will also relate to who is being offered, how much time and effort is being requested in return, and who is offering.

@ishyamo Good Q. Generally I personally don't look for payment when assisting with research. For me it was just that Amazon was a deterrent in this case, as I realise how much will go there. But I do believe it's fair to reimburse people for their efforts, depending perhaps on context.

Honestly, I don’t believe that offer is as enticing as research teams seem to think it is.
And for me, it has the exact opposite effect. ☹️
To be clear: it's pushing money towards Amazon on my behalf, and as part of the research project on many people's behalf, that I would take issue with. It's fair to reimburse people for putting in time and helping out.

@kolombiken Det är ett ständigt dilemma. Oavsett vad man väljer så finns det folk som gör olika saker trots att de har samma titel. Design för mig inkluderar allt som också krävs för att förstå människan innan man påbörjar sin design. Men kanske du kan använda MDI beroende på sammanhang?
@kolombiken Jag tycker man kan jämföra med industridesign, till exempel. Det är ju ett betydligt äldre yrke men på samma sätt som användbarhetsdesign så måste man göra research och vara påläst innan man börjar, och testa och utvärdera under tiden.

JB Straubel was also written in as a Tesla co-founder as part of a legal settlement. He joined Tesla the same day as Tristan Colson, who is largely erased from Tesla history. These were her impressive contributions as Senior Software Engineer at Tesla 2004-2008.
