This is significant. Websites that embed Facebook’s Like Button must seek users’ consent to transfer their personal data to the US social network. This makes complete sense, but now we have a court ruling. This will apply to all 3rd party social embeds and plugins. #digitalethics x.com/AlbinPCLarsson…
Note, if you embed a YouTube video that plays inside your website, data from your visitors is transferred to Google.
I am in the process of hiding video embeds in my blog, to only be displayed upon user request (consent) after they understand the data collection (informed).

I’m with @cwodtke on the new @Wordpress editor which I’ve been using for a while now. The blocks system is useless both for a writer and a power-user. I pretty much hate it. Anyone found reasonable workarounds?

Again with the mental illness myth. It makes me sad and frustrated. People with diagnosed mental health disorders and conditions are much more likely to be victims rather than perpetrators.

@CamillaTominey @Telegraph I would likewise question the inclusiveness of Vogue content generally, as you did. I believe you had some valid points that were clouded by misguided criticism in the very start. And how Meghan seems to receive more criticism than other royal guest-editors.

@Acuity_Design I had to look up subterfuge. Interestingly I've never come across that lovely word before. It so accurately describes many not-so-benevolent design practices.
"Private" and "Incognito" are really bad names for browser sessions where your privacy is actually not protected.

@Telegraph @CamillaTominey You can intellectually problematize any list, but lack of white people is in no way an issue here. There is an attention to inclusiveness, even in regards to age, that could only be made worse by more white people.
