@CroydonSean I don't report, I just choose "I don't like this ad" (top option). I don't see the same advertiser again so I'm not sure how the effect should differ from "blocking". But I might give it a try. :)
Every time I select "I don't like this ad" on Twitter I am told that Twitter will use this information to provide me with "better" ads.
They are seriously getting worse and worse. Misogyny, scams and various forms of snake oil pitches seems to be what I mostly see.

Digital ethics is an ongoing conversation about how we want to acknowledge, influence and involve others in our work. And about how we can act to keep people, and by extension our biosphere, safe from harm. It is rarely about right or wrong, but about better or worse.
I think @beantin and I could write a book just on all the various sales pitches to be on the podcast.
Also, some people are obviously aware of their behavior, providing "unsubscribe"(!) links in e-mails that are designed to look personal. 🧐

@stefsull My first thought is that Handoff is activated so that it is receiving messages via an iPhone (to the iPad via Bluetooth)--- but then again I think they actually have to be on the same WiFi for this to work. But could be confirmed by deactivating Bluetooth...

@Tynell @kowrynen @_victorjansson One reason is that staff at the polling place are responsible for always ensuring that there are enough ballots available for certain parties. Also, parties themselves can fill up ballots with names. There have been situations where many ballots have been stolen or hidden.
@Tynell @kowrynen @_victorjansson That said, this is certainly one of the larger criticisms of the Swedish system, and there are calls being made for changes to this.

@kowrynen @_victorjansson I would think it makes the counting process easier and more secure, but also the voting process in terms of successfully voting correctly considering the cognitive effort required.

#Voting in Sweden trivia:
All citizens 18yo and older can vote, no registration necessary. Okay to vote from prison. Only paper ballots, no machines. Many locations open ~3 weeks before Election Day for early voting. Election Day is always on a Sunday.
In the 2018 general election, voter turnout was 87.2 percent. Voter turnout among people with disabilities is about 6 points lower than the rest of the population.
