@fraying @cydharrell Here's the part in their privacy policy that mentions this. It's one of the creepiest privacy policies I've read to be honest.

Essentially they make deals with the platforms we all use, that already have our email. When we use our apps to visit a site, our data is shared.

@fraying @cydharrell Even worse, what they're really saying here is that if they can figure out who you are based on the account you visited from (or a cookie), they can go to your profile and scrape any public info and use that. Would not surprise me if some of this is manual labor.

@amanda_m_macias This is how I read these numbers, acknowledging that the first number likely should be spread out over several days prior. I have also averaged March 5, 6 and 7 based on the single March 7 number. (I see people interpreting an increase, while the numbers are quite steady.)

One of my oldest friends doesn't have a private email account. He still maintains and uses his massive CD collection.

He just emailed me from his girlfriend's account because "long time" and he wants me to attend the 🏍 fair with him. It's the first email I ever got from him. ❤️

This has nothing to do with conscious avoidance, security or "taking a stand". Just complete disinterest. And I love him for it. It's very grounding.

He will call me at least thrice a year to check in, make plans or wish happy birthday. I'm frustratingly bad at doing any of these types of things and staying in touch but it's like he's a constant in my life that I could not muster losing.

That's him, way in the back in a gray t-shirt. 😊

And hell yeah, we're going to the motorcycle fair in May.
