@jonathansulo @GoDaddy True, but I’m using them only for a TLD that I couldn’t register in Sweden. Which is likely also why they had no idea they were suggesting a domain to the person who owns it.
@jonathansulo Anyway, this experience gave me material for my ethics course and I got a good reminder to delete my account there asap. :)

@arnklint @rikkipitt 👍 This is what I'm doing when using burnermail.io now. I have my own custom domain name hooked up to it so should that service ever die, then I can still recover e-mail and associated accounts.

@rikkipitt @arnklint One thing I'm realizing is that I'm a tiny bit nervous about having my primary e-mail directed to a domain name I have no control over. I suppose a requested future feature would likely be paid custom domain names, as a way to monetize as well.
@rikkipitt @arnklint By "primary e-mail" I mean that some of the services I use now have only the domain name paced.email on record for me.

@quanders Yes exactly. And the primary reason to use haveibeenpwned is to remind yourself to keep different passwords for different services. And having different e-mails really avoids hackers guessing your account username.
