Every now and then I think about Uber's God View and how naive it is to think that most services with widespread consumer use don't have a surveillance God View.
What irks me the most: The potential power this gives over politicians. Never doubt that some people obviously still have this access.

I’ve seen several different women in this meme, and I’m now wondering if any of them are based on something that happened or if it’s an image just designed to go viral. Sometimes it’s Texas, sometimes it’s Kansas.🧐
The blonde woman was apparently arrested in Georgia in 2025. for speeding. No goats.
Or I’m just not getting the joke… 😬
This is such a fun and quirky episode. If you're interested in language and linguistics, and perhaps even ethics and human rights, I believe you will truly enjoy this. Lera Boroditsky has so many great examples.
The studio banter is worth it.

I also didn't understand the "hunting" reference at first. Made me very curious as well. Good eyes.

Yes! Though I think I just taped it. I also had the thermal printer.

I went Dragon 32, Atari 600XL, Atari STe. I remember investing in a huge 30MB external hard drive in 1990.

A computer with built-in BASIC, a membrane keyboard and 1kB memory. I upgraded it to 16kB using an expansion slot.
I also had a thermal printer (7cm wide) and a cassette player for storing my programs.

Haha, what a nice thing to say. I got this in 1982. I was eight.
I not only still have my first computer… I still have the box for my first computer.
