I changed my company postal address on my VPS provider’s website. This sent a confirmation email to me. Which sent my auto-reply about being on sick leave back to them. Which created a support ticket. Which created confusion in their system about why I created a support ticket.I got a reply to that ticket that would appear to be AI-generated. The automated reply-tool couldn’t figure out what my question was. 😅
So many bots are going to be just arguing with each other in perpetuity.

Den hänsynslösa lotteri-försäljningen som gynnar Socialdemokraterna är för jävlig och det är avskyvärt att utnyttja äldre personer på det sättet som tidningarna beskriver.
Eftersom det hela tiden nämns i rapporteringen att det finns anmälningar till Konsumentverket tycker jag det hör till transparent rapportering att nämna följande: i Konsumentverkets diarium finns 24 anmälningar mot Kombispel och 102 anmälningar mot Dagens nyheter. 173 anmälningar mot Dagens industri.
Hur bedömer man relevansen av ärenden hos Konsumentverket? Kombispel är långt ifrån de enda som har säljare som utnyttjar och bedrar människor som har svårt att säga nej, som har svårt att förstå vad de går med på. Det är en epidemi av bondfångeri. Jag skulle vilja se en reportage-serie.
Men tidningarna granskar aldrig varandra i denna fråga. Fortfarande mer än fyra år efter att jag skrev mitt första avslöjande om Dagens industri får jag, om än inte varje vecka längre, mejl från förtvivlade människor som sitter fast i årslånga bindningstider de aldrig förstått att de gått med på.
Det är en vida utbredd människofientlig säljkultur som måste kväsas.
Men försäljningen gynnar ju tidningarnas ekonomi, så vem fasen ska kritisera det så att det märks.

P.S. Jag fattar att det är särskilt allvarligt att ett demokratiskt parti beter sig på det här sättet. Men det är nog bra att inte heller glömma medias roll i en demokrati. Och hur de agerar när vi har möjlighet att synliggöra ett skadligt samhällsproblem.

Small changes in perspective can have a huge impact on thinking. Listened to Chris Germer on an event by the Global Compassion Coalition yesterday, and he talked about seeing meditation practice not as something you are doing, or something you must work to set aside time for, but rather as a gift you are receiving. That really made it click for me.

Commented on LinkedIn about my interpretation of a topic. Had two people reply that I was off and they interpreted it another way. But their interpretations didn’t negate mine, but rather complemented it. So weird.
Sort of:
Me: “That fire engine was driving really fast”.
Person 1: “That’s not how I see it, I believe it was heading towards a fire so it’s really about an emergency response.”
Person 2: “Yeah, I don’t think it was about driving really fast, it was about reaching a high speed in a short time and not wanting to stop before reaching its destination.”
I give up. I have zero energy for things like this. More and more I find myself living inside Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
Was looking into ways to watch the debate tonight but it took me a while to realize it won’t start until 3am Stockholm time.
So no, it will more likely me be waking up at 6am to read the headlines.
