She's set on eating this tree branch by branch...

In the basement I found a short story I wrote back in school (26 years ago) that I had forgotten about. I may have been working on a version of the Divergent series 😂

A good book for an 18-yo curious about clinical psychology? ping @mrjoe @nathalienahai @Brainbowlabs et al
My health right now.
Realized I was unclear this morning. People weren't asking me to teach them UX design quickly, but to be pointed to a quick "tutorial".
No room for mistakes on twitter though... it's all out there and everyone has moved on. :)
Seriously, what's the point of a Facebook pinned post if it's so hard to find on in the mobile app, which is 90% of users.

@jenswedin I'll start sending people your way then. :)

@jenswedin In four days you can at least touch on all the different aspects. But a challenge I'm sure.

@jenswedin Nice. Four days is something though. I think most people asking want something like four 1-hour videos.

@chrisnoessel Awesome. At the line "how do i work this thing?" when they got to the archives I was thinking, "man, chris should be here."

@waxle Exactly. For me that is interaction design. There's a reason we call it UX.
When people ask me for quick online lessons in UX design I have no idea how to respond. I have no idea what they expect to learn/do.
Essentially there are as many definitions of UX Design as there are people. And I don't always love the term either.
I guess this means there is no "quick" way of understanding UX Design. Too many elements to grasp for it to possibly be quick.
Perhaps I should just break it down for them... what do you want to learn about: research, synthesis, experimenting, evaluating...?
Hence a short course in UX Design is a misnomer. Just not feasible... Am I right?
I was thinking about your workshop several times while watching it, Chris :) x.com/chrisnoessel/s…
