I hereby decide that the official term for choice architecture will be "vägvalsarkitektur" from this day on. Submit objections to /dev/null x.com/axbom/status/8…

@whiteafrican Do you know if someone will do a writeup of this? :)
Very related to nudging and UX, which also do not have true Swedish counterparts... can we just ditch Swedish altogether then? 🤔 x.com/axbom/status/8…

Stuff like this is happening in the world now. People crowdfunding money to stop rescue missions in the Mediterranean... essentially asking for money to ensure people die by drowning. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/jun/03/far-right-raises-50000-target-refugee-rescue-boats-med
Hey there multilingual Swedish friends, how would you say "choice architecture" in Swedish?
In Swedish the word for "choice" and "whale" are the same. Hence valarkitektur is easily interpreted as "whale architecture".
Also, "valarkitektur" has 258 hits in Google, not exactly mainstream...

You can also use it to marvel at all the detailed info your photos contain, down to street address... (based on longitude/latitude) x.com/axbom/status/8…
Couple this with face recognition, camera id, timestamp and big data processing... you get the gist of it.
