It’s now been 122 days, or 4 months, since our general election. Still no new government. x.com/axbom/status/1…

@carriehd Yes. I think this is why I more and more enjoy coaching over creating 😛
@carriehd Related, @beantin just told me to watch this. And now I'm starting on @kateraworth's book Dougnut Economics, which @Acuity_Design actually made me buy 1.5 years ago.

@carriehd Very true. By co-creation I think of including the people we are affecting in the design process. Yeah, unfortunately many ways this is misused or misunderstood.
We can't foresee the future. But we know that people will be harmed in the future. The people who will be harmed are likely the ones who have little to no influence over that future.
This is why inclusive design and co-creation is a thing.

I’d wonder how long we can keep doing this before going crazy, if it weren’t for the fact that we can’t really know if it’s already too late. 🤪

@beantin @steveportigal OMG I remember this now. After James' comment the elevator went dead silent and I was so embarassed by James making this comment that I couldn't go near you for the rest of the conference 😂

@steveportigal @uxlx @beantin Agree. I worry that a library of Alexandria burns up every day now but nobody can see the smoke.

@steveportigal @uxlx I remember now that @beantin and I had our own Posterous for that specific event and kept live-updating it! But alas, they shut down.

@steveportigal @uxlx Haha, good find. Man that was a long time ago.

I started doing this last year, and now it has a name: Inbox infinity. Along with @uniboxapp it's a winning strategy for me, for managing e-mail. x.com/nicolasnova/st…

@steveportigal @uxlx I did put all sketchnotes from that year (my first time doing sketchnotes on an iPad) in a Slideshare. Your talk starts on slide 34. If you need them as images I can do a wider search.

Within the past few days I have (in my Twitter feed) seen two unrelated videos of humans intentionally wounding dogs with weapons. Shocked, angry and sad, it forces me to think on how this goes on constantly. 😢 And ignoring it won’t help. Sending money to an animal shelter now.
Wow. Best read yet this year.
Should be compulsory reading for anyone who has referred to another person as lazy. That is, all of us. x.com/letterpress_se…

@cydharrell And... done.

@cydharrell So I haven't gotten around to reading this myself yet, but I placed it in the hands of my 18-year old yesterday and he is consumed. He also just went out of his way to tell me how good it is, which is not common. Thanks for this tip, Cyd!

Sometimes I feel that infinite scroll was a deciding moment for harmful design.
Imagine banning infinite scroll and how this would change behaviors.
