I've had the thought that pollution itself is affecting our health cognitive abilities so fast that it detracts from our ability to act on the climate crisis.
Haven't read this study though. x.com/Jonathan__Leak…

My 1500 word article on Exif data (due tomorrow) is done. Phew. I'm an expert in saving everything to last minute. But I'm also all about accepting myself in doing that. ;)
I'm mentioning John McAffee in my article about exif data (as one does) and thought I'd see what he's up to today. Lo and behold... trapped in Cuba while on run from the IRS and vows to expose 'corrupt' CIA agents if anything happens. WTF! 😮 dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7…
Hey @apple! Next step in privacy-protection should be the ability to share photo exif data on a per-app and/or on a per-share basis.

Just made a quick 5-minute mindmap of an article on exif metadata I need to write tomorrow. Mindmaps are easily my best timesaving tool. Now I’ve got the structure all done. 👊

Comedians complaining about negative feedback (“Everything has to be so damn politically correct these days!”) makes me wonder why they think they should have feedback immunity when clearly everyone is being criticized to a larger extent today.
srhsoffleash.org/784/opinion/wh…
And also, why do so many (looking at most news outlets) treat social media backlash as always representative of real public opinion?
I admit, I can sometimes laugh at off-color jokes, but that does not mean I can’t also reason around the inappropriateness of me doing so. We’re not perfect. Discourse is good. Listening to feedback and reasoning around the validity of it is healthy.
Listening to people who experience harm is a must. When comedians say they have to pay high prices for the “wrong jokes”, let’s relate the size of that “high price” to the price being paid by vulnerable, sidestepped, invisible people throughout their lifetimes.
Comedy isn’t dead, but it likely is evolving.
Thanks to feedback.
While many are stealing clips from the latest Bosstown Dynamics video made by @CorridorDigital, and posting on their profiles, here is the original video. It’s seriously impressive.

(Links, they are a perfectly good way to share content.)
The “How we faked Boston Dynamics robot” video is worth a watch to understand the work that went into creating this.

@Scott_Matter Yes, and while agreements are hard to follow, I like that you started brainstorming :) This made me consider only allowing retweeting people you follow. The reasoning there being that you show you trust the source enough that you actively follow them. Far from perfect though.
