@ronbronson Dito. In my teaching I tend to use the broader category of "covert nudging", but everyone just gets what "sneaky defaults" is all about.
Ah, the famous dark pattern of sneaky defaults. We make the option that benefits us the default and label it with pretty language so users have no idea of what's going on. "But they can always opt out."

@tsvenson Oh I don't provoke people I hope, but I do block overtly racist presidents, politicians and trolls so that their tweets stay as far away from me as possible. Unfortunately they do pop up as screendumps once in a while.
