Imagine if the best way of fighting #deepfake videos is to film yourself 24/7 so that you can prove where you are during the timing of the deepfake. 😬

@RebbeccaTomas This is a very good point. Should I be able to claim compensation from the company I work for? Is it a work hazard that we should have insurance for? So many questions.

@per_p More like shitty outcomes with traditional and normalized KPI's.
Use your fingerprint they said. It will be smooth they said.
"Unlike passwords being leaked, when fingerprints are leaked, you can’t change your fingerprint."
Yes, in this case the actual fingerprints were visible. There are millions of systems like it.

When setting key performance indicators, you'd do well to also discuss if a performance indicator boost is relevant at any humanitarian cost.
Or even, if the performance indicator itself encourages harm to others.

If you're going to feed a machine with historical data so that it can learn, make sure you have checked the ingredients. If the historical data contains historical prejudice, misogyny, ableism and racism... your machine will now contain, and grow from, exactly this.

Haven't tried it yet but can't deny I'm curious. This University of Cambridge tool supposedly tells you what prejudices others infer about you, based on digital footprints.

@space10_journal Hi! I love your work on the conversational form. One question I can't seem to find in the docs: How you you make the form inside a container on the page, and not go fullscreen? Is it only possible with a custom stylesheet?

@RebbeccaTomas Yes, it's very dystopian. And lack of tactile and spatial cues are a huge accessibility problem. 😕
Death by touch screen.
”Unfamiliarity with the touch screens contributed to two accidents that caused the deaths of 17 sailors, said incident reports.”
Sailors "overwhelmingly" preferred to control ships with wheels and throttles, surveys of crew found.

Planning to offer free packages of "3-meetings coaching" to people who are dealing with a lot of obstacles. Idea is to coach 3 people per quarter at no cost.
My personal challenge is criteria to become eligible and making a fair selection.
But I'll get there. More to come.
