@Eduardo_Rich @5u5anCarey Haha, no worries. Nothing about Twitter's threading is helpful.

@Eduardo_Rich @5u5anCarey I'm just happy I now have the word hum to use in conversation with James 😁

@Eduardo_Rich @5u5anCarey Yeah I heard this yesterday. It's the biggest obstacle for me to overcome 😂😬.
Languages are of course full of words with multiple meanings. Bark, nails, jam, mine...
Interview guide after presenting a design suggestion.
1. What do you like most about what you saw?
2. Is there anything you believe could become a problem?
3. What are you most worried about in future changes?
4. What are you looking forward to?
Focus on who you are asking.
↪ Replying to @Pasquale_Stella
@Pasquale_Stella Agree. I like the idea of a new word, just to stress the intent of inclusion.
↪ Replying to @round
@round To avoid miscommunication I would certainly appreciate if people specified what music I should be listening to while partaking in their distinguished word oeuvres.
[Music: The Nutcracker. Specifically the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy.]
↪ Replying to @Pasquale_Stella
@Pasquale_Stella I would personally be totally on board with this.

@SSHowarth @MissIG_Geek Damnit! At least I learned a new bit of slang.
Here's a podcast you should be listening to if you're interested in US politics (and right now you should be). Really, though, they cover global affairs. The absolutely brilliant and passionate hosts Sarah Kendzior and Andrea Chalupa are experts on authoritarian states. They had Ukraine figured out a long time ago. What you'll learn here will haunt your nightmares though. But do listen. Sorry, not sorry.

@SSHowarth @MissIG_Geek 😁 I hear you, but I'm sticking to hums. Easier for everyone to say and quicker to roll off the tongue. Watch me globalize this! 😂

@richardgomer Pronunciation: Hums. 😝
As in chums, gums, and mums.
Just the pleasant sound of it is a big part of what made it appealing to me.
↪ Replying to @The_Corres
@The_Corres @feedbin Any more thoughts on this? I went to change my e-mail now but I realized this also means I have to log in with that address, and I really don't want to use my unique newsletter address as my login for The Correspondent.

I mellanrummet står texten: "To you, it's just a small gap." (Min översättning: För dig är det bara ett litet mellanrum).
I det finstilta längst ner på affischen står (på engelska):
"What may be a simple task for you, can be an impossible obstacle to overcome for others. Hong Kong PHAB Association is committed to integration between people with and without disabilities, to create a barrier-free society for all."
(Min översättning: Det som är enkelt för dig kan vara ett omöjligt hinder för andra. Hong Kong PHAB Association arbetar för integration mellan människor med och utan funktionsnedsättningar, för att skapa ett hinderfritt samhälle för alla.”)
