@mattberan Thanks. I’m not a true friend of that ”workaround” though. Just straight tapping where I want the cursor to be worked so well for me in the past.
I have now learned to ”grab” the cursor and guide it to where I want it to be, which comes more naturally to me than the spacebar.

Something is wrong with iOS when I want to edit text and I place the cursor it selects words instead of letting me place the cursor and I’m frustrated so please just point me to the fix because this is making me angry and obviously I can’t search when I can’t even use punctuation
So now I know the solution is somewhere in here but honestly what a pain changing this without any consent, onboarding or hugs.
