Hello world. I just moved this Akkoma instance from a server on Hetzner in Germany to a server in Sweden. Will save me a small bit of money each month. But nice to see it seems to be working. Federation activity should slowly start returning to normal for me.
My downtime was about 45 minutes.
I'll be starting a server migration in a few minutes and this server may be down for about half an hour.
Fingers crossed it all works out, otherwise I'm also set to roll back…
No messages to me should be lost, as most Fediverse instances are set to retry sending for a day or even two.

The short answer is yes. What you may want to keep an eye on is your username. By switching to a custom domain before migration I believe mentions of your old username will be 'linked' to your new username.

Jag har redan väldigt mycket innehåll som skulle passa i en bok om att använda internet utan att bli lurad, men berätta gärna vilka potentiellt obskyra fall eller oväntade bluffar som du hört talas om / råkat ut för, som kan vara bra att förklara.
