@ArashGilan Fair point. The fact that both of them took the time to tag "ikeasverige" in their posts was what made me do a double-take.
↪ Replying to @unknown
@Okkido Not sure, the fact that both of them decided to tag "@ikeasverige" doesn't seem like normal behavior to me (especially when as you say it's about the house in LA). But no way of knowing really.

@alundbergh @WeAreTheCircle @EmmaWatson @tomhanks Like I just mentioned to @5u5anCarey I’m probably primed to like it, with all the work I’m doing now on #designethics :)

@5u5anCarey Think I need to read the book now. I liked the film, but it’s also so very close to my work on ethics - so I’m probably primed to like it :)

@alundbergh @WeAreTheCircle @EmmaWatson @tomhanks Yes, you're probably right. I'll tell you in an hour ;)
@alundbergh @WeAreTheCircle @EmmaWatson @tomhanks I do recommend it. The ending has been criticized on Rotten Tomatoes, but I feel that as a whole it’s a good commentary on current world events. May have to read the book now. My inner conspiracy nut is now thinking about wealthy people who benefit from bad reviews... 😁
Watching @WeAreTheCircle with @EmmaWatson and @tomhanks. Why have I not seen this before?

1h 12m in and I’m compelled to say this film is more current now than last year.
↪ Replying to @Lazer
@Lazer True, this just tends to be my dig at Americans... where a game mostly played with hands has been dubbed football. But just for today I want to poke fun at the Brits. And then be friends again tomorrow.
@Lazer There’s also Gaelic Football which is just pure insanity.
@Lazer Seems the British for the most parted with the word soccer because they felt it became too American: huffingtonpost.com/2014/06/13/soc…
@Lazer Interestingly, American/Australian football neither use feet (primarily) or even a ball. But in Gaelic football they do have a ball.
@Lazer Sorry for the monologue, I’m obviously nervous! 😂
I’ve stopped using the American word ’soccer’ to refer to football. It has served out its purpose. The Brits coined it first though, as an abbreviation of association football, differentiated from rugby football. Then they realized they play rugby with their hands. 😜

Loud cries for digitalization with no clear purpose, nor plan for training, makes me just want to invite everyone for a nice, calm fireside chat about defining objectives and goals.

@Acuity_Design Haha, this would be a great short story!
@Acuity_Design I added clarification... x.com/axbom/status/1…
Also, a quick reminder: If you get suggested security questions like ”What was the name of your first pet?”, don’t provide truthful answers. This data can be stolen just like passwords can be stolen, and used in other scenarios.
#SafetyFirst
To be clear: use a password manager and generate random ”passwords” also for these fields, if they are required. Keeping track of a parallell self can be daunting. 😁
I mean, come on! x.com/orinthomas/sta…
This whole thing with @IKEASverige paying Ibrahimovic and Beckham to make a ’spontaneous bet’ on social media is just such a cringeworthy affair... both the idea and the fact that they agreed to it. And trying to have people believe it’s genuine. #worldcup #SWEENG
Pro tip: when two millionaires ”bantering” on social media take the time to search for and tag a commercial company in their feeds, you better believe that’s not out of love and consideration.
Now I’m wondering how legal it is for IKEA to promote this exchange without disclosing that it is a paid advertisement for IKEA.
The pure evil at work here is deeply disturbing. x.com/juliehdavis/st…
