@amjec True, this is probably an indicator that I've never had that experience, only the "oh my god we managed to sell them X at this price, boy are we gonna make loads of money!". I am just so not driven by money 😂
I don't want to be in that situation at an agency where people are celebrating because they signed a new, profitable deal. I want to celebrate when I can contribute to other people's well-being and growth. But I also acknowledge this contribution is not necessary to be of value.
What I'd probably like to say is, celebrate your own wins. And celebrate your small wins, no matter how small they seem, to remind yourself how often you are winning. I find that a cup of tea and a book are a nice celebratory ritual.

@catarina_nyberg @Hilaryonline Agree. As with all tools I don’t blame design thinking - it can be used for good and bad. The mistake is trusting it to always do good. When it comes to research I also see very few examples where it is truly made part of the design process, often only clamped onto the front.
On Friday I hosted my workshop 'Mostly Harmless: Design for digital with a conscience' at this year's EuroIA conference in Dublin.
For the curious-minded, both my slides and the accompanying workbook are now available for viewing and download.
Hey #euroia18 peeps! Thank you everyone for a lovely time in Dublin. As promised here are my workshop slides and also a PDF version of my workbook for anyone and everyone to use as you please. Hope to see you soon again! @euroia

Veckans söndagsläsning: Kan design thinking leda till ett arbetssätt som är exkluderande snarare än inkluderande?
Det anser Natasha Iskander.

@krenaud Agree. I would expect intervention before that trend continues. Their population density is already very high.
What if design thinking itself is contrary to inclusive design?
”Design thinking privileges the designer above the people she serves, and in doing so limits participation in the design process.”

It happened but I had no idea things were going on, even if I was right there.
I know nothing happened because I obviously always know when things are going on - even when I wasn’t there.
