@Eduardo_Rich Hahaha, what a weird turn of conversation I did there... clicked reply on a notication assuming I knew what the notification was referring to.
Thankfully not a critical misunderstanding in this case. 😬
@Eduardo_Rich Your fault for retweeting the other one and replying to this one!! 😝

@Eduardo_Rich I lucked out and for many years had a project manager driven primarily by value for people, and they managed to keep worries of budget and time away from the team. Wildly impressive now that I think of it.
It's pretty darn impressive that so many of us get along. 👊
Sometimes I feel that project managers forget that the true drivers of many team members is to create real value for real people, not to finish the project on time/budget or without knowing if it makes a difference. Likewise, team members forget the expectations put on the PM.

@gustavgatu It's more a list. But I'll put it in a blog post :)
So so so many books to read now 😬

@jennytheolin Well, @berkun is writing one but he also has some of the best insights into what exists.

@carissaveliz Honestly, I’m now reading your Nature article and it’s like you’re writing what I’m thinking. Just much more gracefully 😊. I’m doing a talk on medical ethics and design for digital in Copenhagen next year, loosely based on what I wrote in July:

@carissaveliz And now I’m going to read all the books mentioned in your Aeon article.
”Part of what it means to be close to someone is sharing what makes you vulnerable, giving them the power to hurt you, and trusting that person never to take advantage of the privileged position granted by intimacy.”
– @carissaveliz aeon.co/essays/privacy…
”A small piece of regulation, a bit of resistance from citizens, a few businesses starting to offer privacy as a competitive advantage, and it can all evaporate.” – @carissaveliz
This article is poetry.
There was a significant milestone in October. Trump sent more than 1,000 tweets in a single month. At 2 minutes per tweet that’s more than 33 hours of tweeting. Or more than 4 work days.

@DorotheaBaur I ’m pretty sure you knew the answer ;)
@DorotheaBaur Related: I once worked on a health dashboard service here in Sweden and some stats for certain towns weren’t allowed to be displayed because a person could too easily be identified merely by diagnosis and town of residence (especially where population numbers are low).

@DorotheaBaur Hard no from me. 🤨

@krmaher @MostafaGhadrian I wonder what totally flipped his position in such a short time frame. 🧐
Haha. This is basically the example I had in my 2016 ethics talk at #UXLx (and at #uxopen the year before). Which really strengthens my point that mistakes like this are profitable and fixing the GUI is not a priority. x.com/baekdal/status…

@chrisnoessel I think this tweet got detached from the thread? Very much enjoying the thought process as well. Thanks. 😊
