It would be foolish to believe that a book resting on your bedside table, unread, does not still influence your thoughts.

@mattmay Ah, that makes sense! Thank you Matt!
Geek friends! I thought I'd make an easy job of it and bought a tool free RJ45 connector. But now the color coding doesn't make sense for me! Where does each wire go (see image 2)?
Yes, I know the order in a regular RJ45 connector.

@pappasadrian I believe they do have an impact in creating awareness. Awareness for me is one of the most important things right now, as it's necessary for consumer action and behavior change.
I think we may have to start calling them blood batteries.

@flowchainsensei Without immediate data to back me up I'd argue that the proportional interest to scratch an itch (spikes of joy) is higher :)
And that we are interested in quality but we are not well-trained in recognizing it, and the noise works against us. Scratching the itch is easier.

@flowchainsensei This is how you know clicks are not an indicator of quality or value.

I've mentioned before how I avoid the colossal US products and try to support small tech. We also often have awesome European alternatives to most of the behemoths. In this post, however, I focus on outlining why I avoid using the hugely popular video conferencing tool Zoom. There's rarely time for me to provide this overview in conversation.

@BrizaPie @beantin How likely are you to recommend this rhubarb patch to a friend?
Stunning autumn morning today. I did a run over to @beantin (we live on opposite sides of Stockholm) to pick up a gift of a monster of a rhubarb root. Hoping to get close to his rhubarb yield in the next few years.

Funny thing is my head is now so filled with Charley and Ewanās voices that during my ride this morning my mind was going āThis is beautiful!ā āThis is amazing!ā āAbsolutely stunning!ā and hearing their voices š. x.com/axbom/status/1ā¦
And thus it begins. To be continued...
