In Sweden we have controversial privately owned, publicly funded schools. Lobbyists for the status quo are making up research questions about a reform implying things that are far from true, and then saying: "look the public doesn't want reform!"

@Loukas_RS I haven't yet tested making a toot thread and going the other way.

But Cory Doctorow publishes blog threads to here if you want to see what Twitter threads end up as. It's obvious that numbering threads helps a lot. mamot.fr/@pluralistic

@Loukas_RS 😊 Hadn't thought of desktop-only services. One caveat here is of course that if you publish a thread on Twitter, those will be separate tweets on Mastodon. And a 280+ character toot will link back to Mastodon from Twitter.

@Loukas_RS Hmm, interesting that you wonder about mobile specifically. I will need to clarify this then. It will catch anything that is published to Twitter or Mastodon, regardless of how you publish it. That service won't care about what app you use.

So I was over on Mastodon and hesitated as I was about to like a toot (that’s what tweets are called there). Anyway, I hesitated because I started to wonder how the like might screw up the algorithm of what I see. And, then, I realised there is no algorithm to screw up!!! Bliss.

So apparently my tweets sync back to Mastodon, which I had forgotten I had set up 😅
