People are paying $700 plus a $24 monthly subscription to acquire this mocking tool. Perhaps as a modern form of self-flagellation.
It's noteworthy that Humane was founded six years ago. It's not a new company borne out of the AI hype, though it clearly played on that in marketing.

Why free? I've been blogging indepedently and giving away free templates in communications and digital strategy for over 20 years now. Honestly, I want the tech space to be more compassionate, for technology to really help people and for fewer people to have to use systems that don't work for them.
Templates are a good help when you need to reflect on important decisions but are struggling to consider all the important aspects and elements of those decisions.
As you know, high-stakes decision-making in digital often happens at unhealthy speeds – and without clear frameworks – leading to tunnel vision that renders important dependencies invisible.

Varför gratis? Jag har bloggat kostnadsfritt och gett bort gratismallar inom kommunikation och digital strategi mer än 20 år nu. Ärligt talat så vill jag att digitaliseringen ska bli mer omtänksam, att den ska hjälpa människor på riktigt och att färre ska behöva använda system som inte funkar för dem.
Mallar är bra som stöd när man behöver reflektera över viktiga beslut men själv springer för fort för att komma på alla påverkansfaktorer. Det springs som bekant i galopp lite överallt inom digitalisering - ofta utan tydliga ramar och med skygglappar som osynliggör viktiga beroenden.

I’m becoming more and more resolute on getting a tatoo for my 50th birthday (in June).
As this would be my first one, I thought I’d just pose an open question: is there anything I should think through regarding size, placement or other aspects. Happy to get advice from people more experienced. I expect there are many rookie mistakes to avoid.
The tatoo will be Africa-related and likely involve a map of Africa. So, yeah, I have not decided on the artwork yet.
