Yes, Apple Podcasts requires an RSS feed to register your podcast, and this is the platform for most podcasts to then propagate throughout the "podiverse". And Spotify's new hosting platform creates an RSS feed (but doesn't immediately make it public, that's up to the podcast owner - Spotify would much rather you didn't host your podcast anywhere else).
But Spotify and others also offer exclusive shows (i.e. not podcasts). At least they did. And some podcasts don't disclose their feed so other services can pick it up. Some shows I've seen only publish an audio file on a web page or exclusively on Soundcloud for example.

Jag varnar ofta för QR-koder men ibland Àr det lÀttare att förstÄ allvaret om man tydligt fÄr se hur det faktiskt kan se ut. HÀr ser du en film jag fÄtt tillÄtelse att anvÀnda i utbildningssyfte (med min röst pÄlagd). I filmen pillar en kvinna bort ett klistermÀrke pÄ en skylt om parkeringsavgifter pÄ Irland. KlistermÀrket Àr en QR-kod som passar perfekt ovanpÄ en giltig QR-kod som parkeringsbolaget uppmuntrat till att man anvÀnder.
Enligt utsago förlorade kvinnans dotter âŹ1,000 efter att ha scannat koden, hamnat pĂ„ en sida som ser legitim ut, och skrivit in sina kreditkortsuppgifter.
Seriösa aktörer bör inte anvÀnda sig av QR-koder pÄ offentliga platser. Organisationen försÀtter sitt eget rykte pÄ spel och riskerar sÀkerheten för de personer som uppmuntras till att scanna koden. Ibland Àr svindlarna inte ute efter pengar utan efter personuppgifter eller lösenord för att kunna gÄ vidare med andra typer av bedrÀgerier.
Falska QR-koder dyker ocksÄ upp till exempel pÄ kampanjer för att donera pengar, marknadsföringsmaterial om att fÄ rabatter, och pÄ förfalskade p-böter. Kriminella Àlskar förstÄs att Àven myndigheter och offentliga verksamheter uppmanar medborgare att scanna QR-koder utan att verifiera var man hamnar.

QR codes in public spaces are all at risk of being replaced and used by criminals to steal information and money.
They are also for example used on fake donation campaigns ("scan to send money") , fake marketing material ("scan for a coupon") and even fake parking tickets ("scan to pay your fee").
