@dabitch The best idea I can think of is that Fitbit also has messaging between users and all messaging can be used for scams.

To be honest I’m not surprised. I don’t use the account much and it had an old password. Not taking care of passwords will do this to you.
Aaand I'm back in control. You know how? By using the new weird e-mail address and my own old password 😂 Changed the e-mail back to mine and reset the password. Feel like those hackers need some teaching...
I mean, I’ve been using these examples in my talks for a long time now as well. I guess it’s just too expensive for little Google to fix. But deception is cheap. 🤷♂️

While a good step, the future can't be about every maker being transparent about the names of their suppliers. Every maker should be transparent about their own conscious choices and why they sometimes are hard.
