@bolstad @HannaFriden I'm all about fancy and having full control ;) In this case I want a feed with a post that do not have a specific tag. I mean everything is working fine, just not getting the full content.
@bolstad @HannaFriden *all posts
@bolstad @HannaFriden Want control of channel language/description/link tags etc and I want to avoid using a plugin.

@HannaFriden Thank you for this though! It helps just sharing the pain! :)

@HannaFriden Yes I had that in the beginning. It was part of the beginners tutorial. What I don't get is why the output would be breaking and adding an ellipsis, based on what. Will have to try disabling all plugins, though I don't have many.
@HannaFriden Will try adding the encoded part again as well. Have gone back and forth so many times now that something else may have changed with it.

@HannaFriden Gotcha. Not at my computer right now but will provide. Maybe I can do it via iPad...

@wpmedic Yup, and it's set to full text. Really shouldn't matter when I'm doing the custom code. But I did change that before to be sure. Still not working. 😕

@HannaFriden RSS 2. You can actually see the feed and feedvalidation here: feedvalidator.org/check.cgi?url=…
Any #wordpress coders who can help? I'm making a custom RSS feed but the_content_feed() refuses to output the full content of posts, it only gives excerpts. What could be going on?
I've done all the online forum searches and picked at this for hours without success.
The best I can do by way of visuals from my iPad (not at my computer rn).

So much this. Thank you @ruchowdh for this great piece.

@alex_andr_a +1. Thank you for calling this out. 👏
Me asking some simple questions made years of stats come crashing down because the IT team had refused to acknowledge the difference between median and average. Some people had mentioned this over the years, but things never changed. Lots of data potentially misleading. 😬

@berkun ”What would you call someone whose job it is to make a decision?”
A leader. Someone who understands when to make the decision and when to leave decision-making to someone else. And has widespread trust to do so.
@berkun ”If powerful is the wrong word, what's the right one?”
Strong. Strong leader. Because power is taken but strength is something we need to work regularly on to maintain.
@berkun (I sound confident, but really just spitballing.)
I've added 12 new links to my digital ethics database today and that's just too much for one day.
I'm not confident this is the direction we should be heading but we are heading there fast.
