@grishund Accountability buddy? Om en vecka frågar jag hur det går.
I have about 20 books I want to read this summer. Anybody have a good tactic for how to get started? Overwhelmed and can’t decide how to begin...
First thing I guess is to close down Twitter... and Netflix 😂

@movito This makes me want to repurpose my iPad 1! Been thinking of using it as a screen in my workshop* to play DIY videos from YouTube, if it copes with that.
*Workshop not in the UX sense ;)

How many of your apps break the Apple App Store terms that clearly state notifications can not be used for advertising, promotions or direct marketing?
This thread has a @Dropbox example. x.com/jrodriguez826/…

I love this exchange! twitter.com/acuity_design/status/1…
Walking around the house and - in my head - writing a blog post about the superhuman e-mail tracking pixel. Getting more emotional by the minute. Need to find time to write this for real...
”Editor in Chief Lauren Kern attributed Apple News' popularity to a decision to downplay algorithmic story selection in favor of human curation.”

This post by @mmcwatters on his project The Tweet Hereafter is thoughtful and contains many layers. What digital footprints will be left after our passing and how will they be interpreted? We are multitudes - but can not contain the beholder.

@hypervisible That picture is only missing a white cat.
Image desceiption: The James Bond villain Blofeld holding his white cat. The actor playing Blofeld, Donald Pleasence, bears a striking resemblance to Jeff Bezos.

@alundbergh @markusandrezak You can switch to that but Twitter switches it back without telling you. I’ve been meaning to make more use of lists but have never gotten around to it. All in all I’m mostly okay with my Twitter experience since I started frequently blocking the worst people.
↪ Replying to @markusandrezak
@markusandrezak I’ve noticed if you send someone a DM their tweets come forward again. Not a solution, just an observation of the broken timeline. I also sometimes realize there are people I haven’t seen in a while because Twitter said so.

@Acuity_Design @AOC Nice, I’ve used Clips on iOS for this before and was really impressed. There are also captioning services where you upload videos like the one UNICEF posted and it does the hard work for you. This one’s paid, but comes highly recommended: happyscribe.co

@tranhelen My take: Not the tech, but the social etiquette it once demanded. ”Hi, how are you? Wicked game last night, huh? Just getting back to you on our chat from last Friday regarding the bug in the time reporting.”
Chats/forums demand little of this and hence perceived as faster.
Beautiful film with Greta.
”You’re so brave!”
”No, that’s not courage. That’s just determination.”
Though I would have appreciated captions throughout to make it more accessible. Only tiny fragments are subtitled. x.com/UNICEF/status/…

Deepfake. But flesh and blood. Actors hired for years to impersonate parents, friends or just someone to eat in front of you. This was an uncomfortable read, with food for thought.
