Men tipsa gärna.
Och dela!

@vcomposieux Hi Vincent! Mutebar keeps crashing. I was able to start it up for a few hours when I first bought and downloaded it via the App Store, but now when I try to start it, the screen flashes briefly and it does not start. Can you help? I've tried uninstall/reinstall.

@stellastarlight @mneelzy I second this very strongly.
Once again humans are fooled by what they think they see with their own eyes...
"That helps explain why 2020 is already on track to be the warmest ever recorded, beating out 2016. In a sad irony, the decrease in air pollution may make it even hotter."

@carlhendy My understanding from this is that on Getty a white businesswoman is "businesswoman" but a black businesswoman is "african american businesswoman". I'll never understand this lack of self-awareness in exacerbating dated norms and inequality.
Any ideas on how to disable the Adobe Typekit tracker on my wordpress.com hosted blog are greatly appreciated. Customer support have previously said it can not be done (part of compulsory Jetpack?) but I refuse to understand "can't be done".

Note that I have an account where I can edit the functions.php file. I was hoping to potentially disable a javascript this way but can't seem to find a handle for anything that sets the tracker.
The argument for internet as a utility is ever strengthened by the challenges of high-cost internet in Kenya. The solution being widespread Google 4g balloons, however, sucks the air out of me.
Pun very much intended. x.com/iafrikan/statu…

@pauspling ”Att man gjort en pivot.” Om jag tolkar dig rätt. Pivot är både substantiv och verb.
@pauspling Sorry, såg nu att du redan fått en massa svar. ☺️
I think media (and everyone else doing so) has to stop exacerbating the bat soup myth.

Is this an odd question? I'm looking for a javascript that will block the setting of cookies on websites I own.
This could be valid for hosted platforms that actually won't let me remove all cookies (such as wordpress.com)
Here’s my find that looks promising: link.medium.com/EB8tR8ys15
Best way to comply with cookie laws and privacy by design - don’t use cookies. 😁

@marcusosterberg Mycket bra genomgång. Tack Marcus.
« While vowing to police COVID-19 misinformation on its platform, Facebook let advertisers target users interested in “pseudoscience” »
Facebook consistently engaging in “reactive ethics” - only making amends after they’re caught out - is very on brand.

Secretly wishing adaptation of online meetings will lead to less Facebook use.
Well, maybe not secretly.

↪ Replying to @ilovegraphics
@ilovegraphics My interpretation is that the title serves a ceremonial purpose. Leaders in other countries will appreciate meeting the deputy PM to some extent. Also, probably for leverage in negotiations – as the PM and deputy PM are different parties. ”Ok, you can have the title.”

@stephenanderson Oh wow. Instantly making exformation part of my vocabulary.
↪ Replying to @tsvenson
@tsvenson And when Åsa Romson was deputy PM, Margot Wallström would have been acting prime minister.
Best thread on design ethics I’ve seen. This is what I teach in my 3-weeks Ethics in Design course at @nackademin and the students are so appreciative it brings me to tears every year. I have hopes for the future. But not without speculating. 🙌 x.com/cfiesler/statu…
