@realDonaldTrump You can’t actually uninvite someone who has already said no to the invitation. There is no longer an invitation to withdraw.

@bratwurstkomet And know I know the german word for gingerbread house. Nice!
@bratwurstkomet Everyone in #IA and #UX obviously know where I'm going with this 😂 Or do they... 🤔

@janeruffino Also, autumn. So now you must crawl into your shell and become more secluded and introspective, at least until May.

@5u5anCarey Ha, I didn’t realize that was localized to US English. In the UK it’s apparently just ”initiation ceremonies”!? en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hazing
@5u5anCarey Basically it’s elitist vocabulary for abuse, assault and harassment.
I attended boarding school ’90-92. For 3-4 years after this I actually defended the hazing that took place. Brain conditioning is too real.
Of course some people still defend it throughout their lives so I’m glad I was able to break out of that frame.
Whenever I see students expelled because of hazing rituals I always wonder though: why are the adults never held accountable? 😤
Adults are obviously aware of decades of hazing. But they are more insistent on staying out of media than addressing the issue. 😢
In fact, I’ve seen examples of serious abuse known by the whole school, where perpetrators are punished only after media learns about it. 🤔
Adults (having known for a year) feign outrage.
The real outrage of course is about ending up in media and risking the loss of parental school sponsors.
So this was on my mind today after re-reading my Swedish post on my experience: axbom.se/jag-minns-helv… Nothing more to see here, carry on.
Working on my #euroia17 preso at Café Pascal.

This was actually my personal ’favorite’ slide from my talk. It’s more important than many will recognize. #euroia17

I also had to simplify a bit in the 45-min talk. Long-/short term will be context sensitive. #euroia17

When i text my wife my spelling is all over the place. When I text my kids I triple-check spelling and never use abbreviations.
My conviction: To use shortcuts in language you first need to master the game.
In my case it seems to have paid off.

@welles Yeah I’ve noticed the share sheet seems broken overall. :/
Seriously, the #iOS11 built-in tweet interface is broken, right? I actually don’t see the top 2 lines of text when I type. @Apple

Hey @Apple ! I used your new photo drawing tools to underline this mistake on your #iOS11 page. You’re welcome!

@Apple PS Please don’t fire anyone. ;)
@Apple The funny thing was when I tweeted this photo/screenshot from the Photos app I couldn’t see what I was typing on the top line. #applebug
@Apple You have my blessing to fire someone over that. 😛

Ok, already loving how iOS11 and watchOS4 are working to make listening to radio and podcasts more seamless (sound/play controls at front).

This is what @chrisnoessel would call ”agentive” design. The watch is trying to predict what I want to do.
