@beantin Yeah, this part is the kicker. That people not only hurt themselves but also others.

@sherrattsam @tedfujimoto Accoding to this, it often has nothing to do with work or income: weforum.org/agenda/2017/08…
@sherrattsam @tedfujimoto I’m going to write a blog post myself, I think. The simplified Venn diagram often pops up in my feeds :)

@tedfujimoto @sherrattsam With the western addition of ”profession” and ”being paid”; as I understand it these are not part of the Ikigai concept(?) One’s ikigai can for example be taking care of a loved one.
As I understand it, setting up a Bluetooth mesh network. But my biggest takeaway is how Kenyan TV prioritizes sign-language interpretation. 👍 x.com/standardkenya/…

Reading this makes me feel confident that the Swedish culture of fika is one factor at play in how a 10-million person country can contribute so much prominent creativity to the world. ideou.com/blogs/inspirat…

@Thomasbergman Haha, vad roligt.

@pedrobjorn Fair point, and I don’t really suggest ignoring it, but drawing long-drawn conclusions from a tweet to debate policy for 30 minutes is going a bit too far. So it’s not that they discuss the tweet, but rather how they discuss it, normalizing the behavior.

@nicolecommander Excellent. I’ve directed people to this post by @novolume in the past. Love his generic image of a website. novolume.co.uk/blog/all-websi…

Swedish political TV debate shows a Trump tweet and then allows politicians to draw conclusions from that and carry out an intellectual discussion as if the nonsensical tweet is a serious stance on something. The world is being drawn into the delusion. Media chose the blue pill.
