This is a sad look at how branding views consumers. Focus on product rather than trust/relationship. Short rather than long-term. Emotional rather than planned and logical.

Goals:
* Return to proper self-hosted blogging, with posts on a regular basis.
* Return to RSS readers for news.
* Return to listserv (or similar simple solutions) for discussion groups
I'm thinking September as a deadline for reaching these goals.
I have to say I’ve been having a lovely time on Twitter these past few days, interacting with nice people with a healthy sense of humor as well as responsibility.
Positive experiences need to be called out too.

Apple bought a lease for a large part of land embedded in Stockholm's most central public space. Now that they're not allowed to build a store there they're not selling it back (or at least raising the price substantially). The lease is valid until 2046.
