@jmspool You're probably right. Trying to figure out if that backchannel then was ever a need and/or if we are missing something. But realizing I'd need to do more extensive research. Wish I was a dude who could jump tp conclusions and feel confident about my biases being truth 😂. Not.
Twitter is truly dead in Sweden when it comes to conferences. We are around 10 people tweeting at a 400-person tech conference.

@Loukas_RS There should absolutely be a line here. Good feedback, I threw it out there to get just this. But also, we all have lots of bad habits (often in consumption) that cause harm to others. I'm not sure shame is always a good instigator for change.
@Loukas_RS Thinking that for "habits" that cause direct harm we need better regulation to remove the possibility for this abuse. But this is a long line of reasoning. I'll have to get back to it.
It's important not to feel ashamed over "bad" habits. Accept your acknowledgement of them as a win, think about where you want to be, and what small, regular and reasonable tasks you can undertake to start moving in that direction. Celebrate wins and know there will be setbacks.

@chrisnoessel @daveixd In my workshops I offer an anonymous feedback channel, explicitly asking people to let me know if they find anything inappropriate or offensive. Thinking now I should do the same for talks.
