@LeoR1010 Hjärnan ba' "nä men om man skulle ta och dansa lite jitterbugg för att fira hur bra jag mår". 🙃😖
@DaleHagglund Ah you're right and I should've known this 😅 - it's how I get Gary Marcus' updates. I was just so frustrated when the email address was rejected I didn't think about the RSS feed that was already there!

This is an excellent role and description. I believe it could be immediately useful in many contexts for me as well. Always looking for different ways to describe my purpose…

I gave two talks on "digital legacy" this year and they stand out from the rest by the huge interest expressed by the audience, and how people stayed after to just talk for a long time about their experiences. My sense was that many people truly feel lost and crave guidance and safe spaces to talk.
@fasterandworse I don't like this at all. In the same page they're saying they've "estimated" that they are not significantly increasing their footprint while at the same time saying they have no way of knowing. It's absurd.
@simonrjones Good stuff. Gave me a lot more insight into what's really going on, thank you!
@joho Your guess is as good as mine. At the moment I'm just blown away by his behavior. He didn't go the litigation route (likely because there is nothing there), he went with the shakedown strategy.

Reverse smoke detector wearable.
At random, but intelligent, intervals across a day it blows smoke up your posterior.
@patrickcentral Definitely. And I'd expect you to. Even if you weren't a UX professional.
But in my mind it's then not okay to ALSO be fine with using "AI" tools that exist because they scraped people's content without consent and without any option to opt out.
It's specifically the combination of conflicting standpoints I am commenting on. Many of the people I see "take issue" with LinkedIn's practices don't appear to mind using tools that stole other people's content without telling anyone.
@edbro Wow, I'd forgotten about this talk, thanks for reminding me. Love it so much!
@simons Haha, det håller jag med om. 😁 Jag ville framför allt snabbt dela med mig av att jag hittat lösningen, och kredda källan.

Thank you Sarah! Just dipping my toes in again and testing the waters. It's really nice to see so many friendly faces from the 'olden times' 😅

Thank you Shaun! We're already reaching that age apparently. Good to hear you got the help you needed. We'll have to meet up and have a heart-to-heart! 🥁🫶
@stephenpa Happy birthday Stephen! Your Mental Notes cards are how I first came to know you 😊
@steveportigal I’m wondering if you’re using the wrong RSS feed link?
This URL looks better: https://portigal.com/podcast/feed/
It does only contain the latest 9 episodes though. There’s likely a setting somewhere to increase the number of items in the rss feed.
