@mcrocker @pluralistic Good one. Thanks for the reminder to get back to reading his rss feed.
@thejohnnytk It would appear that text and sound are (temporarily) not subject to monitoring in the new proposal.
@thejohnnytk Agree, the inability to explain how this will work is part of the problem.
@mpk Yes I do gather this is the loophole they are using to make their claim. At the same time, the way the apps can claim end-to-end encryption is by ensuring only the device can read the message before it is sent. So it certainly is a bit of semantical parkour. 😅
@JoWa Det tänkte jag inte ens på. Det kan det ju ha varit!
@David Thanks for this, I almost missed your response but this was really helpful.
@ret Right now I’m choosing between Ko-Fi and Tipeee. I like that Tipeee is French.
@troed Ever come across tipeee before?

If you're ever in Stockholm, Pavel, I'd love to take you to the Vasa museum. 😊
@mkj That’s the one! Thank you!
@ambivalena Ja det är nog något av det mest givande jag får göra i arbetslivet. 😊
@kofzmann Många bra perspektiv. Vi är så förbannat inlåsta, av våra egna makthavare.

My only relationship to kool-aid is the saying "drinking the kool-aid". So you can see how there are many cultural hurdles to jump over here.
The Swedish counterpart as far as I can tell would be BOB blandsaft with the black currants flavor. 😅
4 parts water to 1 part syrup.

@jwcph I have to say, "Radicalized by decency" is just chef's kiss.
