@pubstrat I am specifically addressing the practice of telling people they do not need to take photos. In tweet 2 I clarify that making slides available is really useful. So I'm saying there is a difference between commenting on the behavior, and just telling people slides are available.

@heather_ia For me I struggle to see how they provide value. And add to my task list. I'm all for letting people know I've appreciated their job performance but this also makes me wonder what a "bad" review will mean in terms of repercussions for an individual who just had a bad day.
