@berkun Hmm, I wonder if a more surprising image would be a good fit, and it would then have to be from a use-case/example in your book. So every time I look at the book I remember that example :)

@berkun Voted. I did not let it affect my vote, but I’d reflect on how a fixed perspective of the globe as a symbol works in print. The globe is always centered on one part of the world, with the risk of the rest of the world feeling left out. All the designs are fantastic though.

@WolfgangBremer Yeah, at the same time I remember the PAL and NTSC and SECAM debacle. Global licensing is a mess. Also thinking about getting music on vinyl, then cassette, then cd (and even buying a minidisc player), downloading (iPod), then streaming.

@WolfgangBremer I've had the good fortune of working with healthcare for 8 years now. It's often frustrating and slow, and not the most proitable place I can be, but every time I feel like jumping ship I remind myself that it's still the place where I believe I contribute to more societal value.
@WolfgangBremer I feel having a good understanding of my own value system allows me to make better choices in the face of adversity and judging the attractiveness of options that present themselves.
