@Jessikayyy @OvercastFM But this is unfortunately the reason people are scrambling to be available on Spotify and in some cases are going exclusive there. Spotify is providing data that podcasters have never had access to before.
@Jessikayyy @OvercastFM My hope was that Spotify would continue to be one of many channels I could choose from as a listener to download shows (as it is with our podcast), but we are seeing market grabs now where podcasts are becoming exclusive to platforms, just like tv-series and movies.

@MarMurube @MichelleObama Yes! But the thing I'm not thrilled about is that it's locked in and you need a Spotify account. The beginning of the end for podcasting as we know it... or I think we should call it a Spotify show rather than a podcast.

Det finns en tydlig modell för planering i digitala format, medan vi vet att människor har olika sätt att överblicka tid. Jag ser det som en design-miss.

@RebeccaWho Agree it's a journey. And that it's not possible to be 100% ethical. I see it as creating awareness, and encouraging choices based on reflective reasoning. This means more people listen along the way. Showing and being transparent about one's own shortcomings is part of it.
